Search Engine Optimization is as important as setting up your website, without it, setting up your website was a good exercise but rather pointless, as the chances of anyone seeing your website other than you giving out your URL will not happen. How can you purchase a product or service if you do not know where to purchse it?

Search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc have their own set of rules, so even though you think you are setting up a great website and doing what you think is right the search engine bot may not like it.  The strange thing is the rules of how your website needs to look are not always that clear, one would think the search engines would publish these but they don't.

• Site description & Keywords
• Google analytics registration & code insertion
• Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URL's, Joomla (add-on dependent)
• Site Map submission, using Google webmaster tools.
