Some hosting terms explained:

• FTP Account: This is a facility where you can create a folder/s and give it access via a password to be viewed via a FTP client or cPanel File Manager.
• Email account: This is where you create your account for your emails, we offer unlimited amail accounts.
• Database (mySQL): A database is required for many software packages such as Joomla and others, we offer from 5 to unlimited.
• Sub Domains: Add from 5 to unlimited sub domains, eg: http://subdomain.idshosting.co.za Used to subdivide a large website for example.
• Add-on domain: A handy feature where you can have from 5 to unlimited stand alone websites, using the add-on domain feature on one hosting package.
• Parked Domains: Domains added to your website that point to the main accounts domain, eg: main domain is: acmeco.co.za, parked domain: goodfood.co.za, the latter points to acmeco.co.za
