The COZA registrar whether behind the times or not does not park any domains on there servers like international registrars: ENOM, Namesecure, goDaddy etc.

This does cause a problem for you the client and us the hosting companies.

All co.za does is divert the URL to the correct namserver.

So when a co.za domain is registered with the COZA registrar it requires a nameserver for the domain, and it goes to look for the domain at the nameserver, if its not found it rejects the application.

The only way to obtain a nameserver for the domain is to purchase a hosting package.

IDS Hosting does offer a parked package, so you can keep your domain for later use, but its also a type of hosting package and is parked at the hosting company not at the registrar.
