Why are your domains not free like so many other hosting companies?

When you are faced with the option to accept hosting with a free domain as an added bonus.

Be aware that in most cases the free domain does not belong to you, this becomes apparent when you want to move your hosting and find that the hosting company does not approve the update to move your domain, as the domain is more than likely registered in the hosting companies name.

This tactic forces you to stay with a hosting company and leaves you with no options if you have already established a web presence with your domain.

IDS Hosting will register your domain in your name as registered with us via the registration process. We will be your admin & technical contacts but since you are the owner of the domain as you did pay for it, you are free to move at any time as long as you give us 30 days notice to do all the admin on your account.
