IDS Hosting is the latest addition to the already established IDS Group of companies. The IDS flagship: IDS Online which is a South African Business Directory has grown consistently since 2002 and has laid a foundation for IDS Bulk SMS a very stable, well used feature rich bulk sms service, and now IDS Hosting.

Our intentions with IDS Hosting is to reach a broad spectrum of web users, from professional web developers who require large server space & bandwidth for large corporations to the person who just wants a simple blog website.

We have positioned ourselves to be able to handle this wide spectrum of services using state of the art automated software, a data centre that is a leader in it's field of services which has 24/7 support, and many years of in house experience.

Any Open source software used and configured will not be sold, but a service fee which will cover our time and resources will be added when we develop using such software.

IDS Hosting will supply a service in addition to supplying hosting to upload trusted open source software, such as Wordpress, Joomla, various off the shelf brochure websites and gallery packages etc for users who would like to run their own sites via a Content Management Service (CMS). IDS Hosting is working towards bridging the gap between the Internet and the man in the street who thinks publishing a website on the Internet is out of his or her ability or grasp. With recent & ongoing developments this gap can be bridged.
